What counts as a video minute?
Minutes are counted against the final rendered runtime that goes through the full obclip pipeline. MVP plan uploads are capped at 2min, while your finished output is what meters the plan.
Included across plans
- Automated scripting from footage
- Voiceover, captions, editing, and metadata pipeline
- Workspace dashboard and artifact history
Frequently asked questions
Questions teams ask before they hand video production to a pipeline.
- What kind of footage can I upload?
- Any video file — screen recordings, camera footage, webinar recordings, gameplay. obclip analyzes the content and adapts the pipeline to what it finds. MP4, MOV, and WebM supported.
- How long does a full pipeline run take?
- Typically 3–8 minutes depending on video length and selected stages. You’ll see real-time progress for each stage in your dashboard.
- Can I use my own voice or brand voice?
- Yes. Choose from multiple TTS providers and voices. Custom voice cloning support is on the roadmap.
- What if I do not like the generated script?
- Use advanced review mode. Pause after script generation, edit the text directly, then re-run only the downstream stages without starting the whole job again.
- Does obclip publish directly to YouTube?
- Not yet. The pipeline currently produces a publish-ready package with metadata, chapters, and tags. Direct YouTube integration is shipping next.
- Is there an API?
- Yes. Paid plans are designed to grow into API-based workflows, webhooks, and deeper automation as the product matures.
- How is this different from OpusClip or Descript?
- OpusClip clips highlights from long videos. Descript is a manual editor with AI features. obclip is an automated production pipeline that takes raw footage all the way to a publish-ready video.
